Known Issue - 25.10.4 - Question - How to backup and restore the old InfluxDB data? #631

Description

Problem
Since Firmware 25.10.4 there is the known issue with the TEDAPI access. Documented across the site.

I have therefore followed the instructions for creating a dual NIC computer with Wifi directly connected to the PW3 Wifi.
This all works great.

EDIT: 3 hours later....
I've got it working and have successfully imported the historic data.
Steps to make it work:

  1. Follow Raspberry Pi Setup #607 - STOP Before the "Install Powerwall Dashboard" Step.
  2. Follow: https://github.com/jasonacox/Powerwall-Dashboard/tree/main/backups to Take and Restore a backup - STOP before running the final ./setup.sh command.
  3. You MUST Change Owner of the Powerwall-Dashboard to the current user - e.g. "sudo chown -R [USER] Powerwall-Dashboard"
  4. Now run ./setup.sh command.
  5. Your logins and passwords for Graphana etc will all be as they were in the backup.

Old Information
_However - I've (obviously) not got my historic data as it is a fresh install on a Raspberry Pi 4.

How do I backup and then restore JUST the InfluxDB element to have my past year's data?

I do NOT want to do the full backup and restore of the entire dashboard as I presume it won't work due to my previous install being on Ubuntu and the new one being on the Pi._
