Suboptimal layout of bars in some charts

Top 1/3 of the chart is empty in the following example:

Woah, that's bizzare. The charting library is supposed to take care of that. We don't set those limits in our code, maybe this is a bug with ChartJS? To be fair, I'm still using an ancient version because they made so many drastic changes I haven't been bothered to spend my free time to upgrade it. It's been working fine (and I hadn't experienced this issue before). :(
