qjackctl is just a GUI frontend that starts
and that's failing so qjackctl cannot connect to jackd. Configuring A quick google search using Once you get jackd working on the commandline, you can adjust the options in qjackctl to match. Also, is there another sound server running, like Pulseaudio? That would have to be stopped before jackd can be run. |

I managed to burn out my hifiberry sound card by misconnecting it to the rpi connector. I now have a new sound card and I'm running it on a new OS installation and after adding -i 2 -o 2 options to the command, jack starts. |

I can't get qjackctl to start on a rpi5. I'll try to attach the Messages.

I'm using a hifiberry DAC+ADCPro sound card which seems to be recognized.
