What
Right now the code for the course is whipped together to get the content ready for the semester. Although efforts were made to make it good, it could have better design.
Additional Notes
The issue is obviously an ongoing thing for any project, but the reason it's being made an issue is that, in general, it's lower priority right now given the time constraints of the semester. Also, some explicit recommendations were made by @twentylemon in #149.
