I ttry to convert with dstep a header file that includes stdint. I encounter this error.

Are you sure you are not hitting https://github.com/jacob-carlborg/dstep?tab=readme-ov-file#limitationsknown-issues ??

I think this is the issue, but in that case it should not error, but create a placeholder.d with the includes commented and just import the placeholder.d . Let me decide what to put there, possibly the stdc imports from D.

OK, I realised (from your previous post to this discussion group) that you are on Windows... I really can't help there. I use Windows once a year...

This has nothing to do with Windows. I proposed an idea above to give me the option to salvage the build. I also added build improvements on windows.

Can you post the header file and how you're invoking DStep? Which platform are you using and which version of DStep?

Wndows 10 x64, the header file (the .h not .hpp) is the official one from DuckDB
