Log stdout only?

I'm using podman quadlets, so I get the logs already in the journal. Can I disable the log file to avoid storing logs twice and just have the logs being printed to stdout?

That's actually a valid concern in all cases of container runtimes. I'll investigate that.

Sounds like it might be non-trivial to support this across all the server / mod loader types but maybe it turns out they all use the same log4j setup.

I'm not very familiar with java, but it's not what's controlled by this. Removing the RollingRandomAccessFile should fix the problem?

You solved your own problem by reminding me: you can set ENABLE_ROLLING_LOGS to "false" to use that modified log config.

I know it seems like on the surface this would be an easy feature to address, but there's several little complications.
