Should we have density_peaking parameter in Summary IDS

In scenario yaml file we do have density_peaking parameter.

• Discuss on definition of what does density peaking mean?
• How can we calculate from summary or other IDSes?
• Is it possible to store this scaler value in summary IDS?

Currently various values are stored against this parameter floating number or strings, find below information..

The density peaking has many definitions and no universal one. We had this discussion in the past with Alexei Polevoi who has useful information on the various definitions. In this context, I decided to add the density peaking in the metadata if I have it from the input scenario description, and I was counting on that the exact definition used in the transport suite is indicated in the free_description entry.

In the Summary IDS, you already have data that allow to calculate density peaking, such as central density over volume average, or central density over separatrix value ...
We could of course add a dedicated pre-calculated field with configurable definition, but I am not sure this helps much the search for datasets.
