Using Isso in VuePress

I would like to use Isso in my VuePress-powered home site.
Unfortunately VuePress seems to wipe away the first snippet needed to implement Client:

<script data-isso="//comments.example.tld/"
        src="//comments.example.tld/js/embed.min.js"></script>

and I suppose it should be incorporated somehow in "Theme"

Unfortunately VitePress page structure is quite peculiar and I cannot understand how to integrate Isso.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
