Automate the generation of varying / uniform functions

I wrote some trivial Vector math functions, for example Dot, and have so far created by hand the needed combos of uniform vector arguments.

Is there a way to automatically generate the definition for such functions for for all needed combos uniform / varying ?
Almost like creating a template on the "varying/uniform" attribute. This would cut down the boilerplate by a factor of 3.
