Local terminal

I don't know if this is to far-fetched, but I thought I'd put the idea here.

IMHO it would be great if one could add the local terminal as a "server".
This way one could have "all things command line" in one app.

And yes, one can certainly ssh to localhost, but this is not really the same. For this one has to activate remote access, which is not even allowed in all places. Also permissions are different (to really use ssh to localhost in a meaningful way, one has to give full disk access to the ssh).

Does #1319 is what you are talking about?
And what do you think about components that will get involved? (WebSSH can’t launch a local terminal by itself as running inside a sandbox)
