Issue with IONOS Laravel on a Subdomain

Hi
I have deployed laravel working project on a subdomain https://api.envoycan.com/ and its showing 500 internal server error. I have contacted IONOS Live Chat Support twice but none has provided me a solution and one said that they are not laravel experts. Can anyone guide me what's issue here? I then copied same project on main domain and directed to its public folder, updated app url in env and its working. Please let me know how laravel project will run on subdomain.

I had the same problem. But here is my fix:
Take a look at line 7 of the "/public/.htaccess" file in this repo and add this to your file:
RewriteBase /
