1. A few versions ago OBS and Kdenlive used VAAPI fine, but a few versions ago the following errors started
2. OBS is installed in Manjaro KDE in the classic way, we start screen recording, and the recording goes well, but when we stop OBS crashes with an error

it is a BDW issue, from comments, seems encoder works well, but some problem when exit, so suppose ffmpeg vaapi avc encoder could reproduce the issue . @bestperson-free BDW is older platform, I fear we could not setup reproduce env quickly, could you provide more logs, libva trace by LIBVA_TRACE environment variable and media driver log by https://github.com/intel/media-driver/wiki/Decode-and-Encode-Debug-Tool-and-surface-dump#how-to-dump-driver-log?

All I collected is the logs of obs running from sudo and from the user, as well as the crash of kdenlive
I also tried changing in sudo nano /etc/environment HD to i915 then VAAPI just won't load
