Feature: Recreate Ent 3 cluster with trial or home license #6119
Description
A new version of the trial/home license service has been deployed that allows you to start with a fresh cluster without using a different email and/or object store.
Steps:
- Start a cluster and go through the trial license flow (verifying your email)
- Stop the cluster and delete everything in the object store
- Start the cluster with the same parameters and go through the trial license flow with the same email address
What happens:
- the license service sees a request for a new license for the same email + obj-store but a different cluster-uuid from your previous trial license.
- It creates a new license with the same expiration date, email, obj-store, and the new cluster-uuid.
