Slightly related. POCL with CUDA support works just fine on the Xavier and therefore you can keep using PyOpenCL. |

I agree with @isuruf that pocl should help offer OpenCL even where Nvidia does not. And with OpenCL being a much less stateful (i.e. much nicer!) API than CUDA, I think this is generally the technically preferable solution. That said, if you must do a port, it's not too hard to come up with an abstraction layer, e.g. |

I have some image reconstruction code that uses PyOpenCL but I need to use PyCUDA (targeting Jetson AGX Xavier which doesn't support PyOpenCL). I have found a somewhat helpful page, but could use a few more tips. Thanks!
