What did IRC really lose in 2009?

I'm making a proper script with just two rules: no DLL files, no external software

This is probably the most complicated script I've ever made. It was all meant to make sense for 1 person, around whom the finer details are tailored

Then I just started using it myself. I think the popups are brilliant, and yeah it covers a lot of ground, but it's aimed at someone who never used IRC before, or just fucked about on a web client and never knew the glory that could come from a simple right click
