Mapping a shortcut to mute a tab (Ctrl-M)

The problem
I don't know which browser introduced it, but ever since I switched to Edge few years ago this shortcut has simplified my workflow so muche. Having to right click on a tab to mute it or to click on the speaker logo feels so slow now.
Possible solutions
I don't know how to make this and I don't know if it's hard, but maybe adding in the settings a page that display the shortcuts and where we can map them.
Additional context
I have no competence or skills in coding, I just hope that this can be implemented 👍. Thanks !
