Re-implement the feature that shows tabs in fullscreen mode when hovering the mouse in top of screen
Who's implementing?
- I'm willing to implement this feature myself
The problem
Although I'm not a regular Firefox (or derivatives) user, I've always wished if the mentioned feature was available in Chromium-based browser.
Possible solutions
I noticed in this Google event YouTube video, the user could show the tabs by hovering the mouse in the upper area of the screen in fullscreen mode.
This feature is (or was) available in Chrome OS and in macOS. Although the feature is heavily dependent on the system UI of the latter platform, seeing it viable on Chrome OS probably means the feature could be re-implemented for Linux due to similar system architectures (and maybe even for Windows) if the developers which to dig in current or past versions of the Chromium codebase.
EDIT: See this note regarding feature availability.
