Watching some of them in slow motion like the one above, it seems obvious that what he wants to do is a swap and not a move, which I've been able to address. But yeah all of the other ones should be ironed out when I finally manage to wrap that PR up...

Watching some of them in slow motion like the one above, it seems obvious that what he wants to do is a swap and not a move, which I've been able to address.

That's because that's how the chains of heroes are built by the pro. All heroes in the chain have one relatively fast unit, so when previous hero in the chain meets the next hero, the next hero gets full army (and usually all artifacts as well), and the previous hero gets that relatively fast unit of the next hero. Then the hero who received full army and artifacts runs to the next hero in the chain and everything repeats. In fact, the swap is the most frequently performed operation in chains. HoMM3 even has the special buttons to swap troops and artifacts.

Why are you so surprised considering how much work you've done on polishing it?
