Tweaks to artifacts:
Some artifacts give point(s) for Spell Power and Knowledge in addition to their original effect:
If the hero has several copies of the artifact, the bonuses for Spell Power and Knowledge are cumulative.

+2 Spell Power:

• Wizard's Hat

+2 Knowledge:

• Heart of Fire
• Heart of Ice
• Sphere of Negation

Enchanted Hourglass:

• +1 Spell Power
• extends duration of all spells by 5 turns (instead of 2 turns in its original version)(bonus not cumulative by default, can become cumulative with an option)

Elemental Ring:

• +2 Spell Power
• cost reduction is also applied to elemental spells on the adventure map (Set Air, Earth, Fire and Water Guardian spells), the spells cost 7 spell points instead of 15 spell points (bonus not cumulative)

Book of Elements:

• +2 Knowledge
• increase in efficiency is also applied to elemental spells on the adventure map (Set Air, Earth, Fire and Water Guardian spells), the spells generate 8 Elementals per Spell Power instead of 4 Elementals per Spell Power (bonus not cumulative)

Power Ring:

• +3 Spell Power
• +2 Knowledge
• gives 4 spell points per day on the adventure map (instead of 2 spell points in its original version)(bonus not cumulative by default, can become cumulative with an option)
• gives up to 20 spell points at start of combat (the hero doesn't restore spell points above his max spell points (ex: max 20/20))(bonus not cumulative by default, can become cumulative with an option)

Ammo Cart:

• +1 to Attack for all ranged troops in the hero/captain's army
• +1 to Attack for the ballista and turrets during siege (defender hero)

Golden Bow:

• +3 to Attack for all ranged troops in the hero/captain's army
• +3 to Attack for the ballista and turrets during siege (defender hero)

Ballista of Quickness:

• +2 to Attack for all ranged troops in the hero/captain's army
• +2 to Attack for the ballista and turrets during siege (defender hero)
• +1 extra shot for ballista and towers (for each tower) per combat turn (defender hero)

Statesman's Quill:

• counts as two hero levels when the hero visits Xanadu (bonus not cumulative)
• reduces the cost by 50% when wandering creatures will join the hero (this reduction is taken into account after the cost reduction of the Diplomacy secondary skill)(bonus not cumulative).

Sailor's Astrolabe of Mobility:

• generates 250 gold per day
• protects troops from whirlpools

Masthead (PoL):

• generates 250 gold per day
• protects troops from whirlpools

Crystal Ball (PoL):

• +2 Knowledge
• gives detailed information on army camps, heroes, and towns in the whole viewable area of the hero who possesses the Crystal Ball (Scouting secondary skill, artefacts and bonuses are taken into account)(instead of a fixed radius in its original version)
• will keep its radius of effect 8 squares outside the hero's position, as in the original game, in order to keep its attractiveness.

Telescope:

• +1 Movement on land (100 points), +1 Movement at sea (100 points)(bonus not cumulative by default, can become cumulative with an option)
• protects troops from whirlpools

Wand of Negation:

• The functioning of the Wand of Negation is modified to prevent only the use of Dispell Magic spells on friendly troops by the opposing hero:
  Makes all your troops immune to dispell magic spells casted by the opposing hero.
  Instead of:
  Makes all your troops immune to dispell magic spells.

Spade of Necromancy (PoL):

• +1 Attack
• +1 Spell Power
• +10% Necromancy

True Compass of Mobility:

• +5 Movement on land (500 points), +5 Movement on ocean (500 points)(bonus not cumulative by default, can become cumulative with an option)
• protects troops from whirlpools

This is an option (a set of options) with eventually a sub-option for each artifact:
"Artifacts: Enhancement of some Artifacts"

Note: all of this could eventually change, especially the stated values.

Wand of Negation:

Demonstration of the problem associated with the Wand of Negation artifact, which is supposed to be beneficial but isn't in this case.
This problem is also present in the original game, hence the change in the mod.
