Hi everyone,
I'm a fullstack developer and I've been actively exploring and working with AI agents integrated into IDEs like Windsurf. During this exploration, I identified a common challenge: managing project tasks effectively and maintaining context when collaborating with AI, especially as conversations grow.
To address this, I've developed Tasky, a new VS Code extension. Tasky provides a dedicated interface within the IDE for structured task management. It's built to work seamlessly with AI agents via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing the AI to access and update a clear, organized project task list. This means less time sifting through messy text files and more efficient, controlled AI-assisted development.
Since Windsurf and other Codeium-based IDEs are central to these AI-driven workflows, I believe Tasky could be a valuable resource for this community.
I'd like to propose adding an "Extensions" or "Tools" section to the Awesome Windsurf repository to list helpful extensions like Tasky that enhance the AI coding experience.
