Note for experienced MQ / JMS developers: This repository provides a JMS style programming interface, but there is no use of Java as part of the implementation. It also does not use the IBM MQ Java client, or IBM MQ JMS client. The implementation is written in Golang and builds upon the [mq-golang](https://github.com/ibm-messaging/mq-golang) module, which itself uses Cgo to invoke the MQ C client library and communicate with the queue manager.
