Here’s what’s new across ibl.ai this week — spanning AI enhancements, frontend polish, backend power-ups, and DevOps improvements.

🤖 AI Updates

• Role-based access control for Mentors: Casbin RBAC is now integrated into the mentor platform, enabling granular permission enforcement on mentor settings endpoints, complete with admin-level rule management and dynamic key matching.
• Smarter chat handling: A new periodic task processes chat history across the platform, and SiteSetting now allows tenant-level customization of platform behavior.
• Document auto-updates & scrapability checks: The platform can now automatically verify scrapability of URLs and update indexed documents through new endpoints, keeping training data current without manual input.
• Streamlined Langfuse callback handling: Reduced the number of Langfuse callbacks from 5+ to just 2 for leaner and more efficient logging.
• Mentor mapping automation: New signals and management commands ensure newly created mentors are automatically mapped to platforms for consistent permission handling.

💻 Frontend Enhancements

Embed Preview Mode Controls:

• All interactive elements—prompt clicks, chat input, tab switches, and sidebar toggles—are now disabled in embed preview to ensure clean, static previews.
