New default profile no longer displays keybinding hints in custom pickers

Hi all!

I use https://github.com/rmagatti/auto-session with the fzf-lua integration as the session picker, which supports some custom actions and displays keybinding hints. However, after a recent fzf-lua update, the hints are no longer displayed, and I'm not sure how to reenable them.

I know I could change the default profile to get the old behavior back, but I would prefer to keep the fzf-lua default profile and tweak a specific option instead, if that's possible.

I don’t see why the profile should affect this, when you run :FzfLua profiles load=default-title does this restore the action headers for you?

I also looked at the picker code in the linked plugin and it seems fine, are you fully updated to HEAD on both plugins?

Yes, if I run this and then the session picker, the headers are restored.

What if you then run :FzfLua profiles load=default again? Does it hide the headers?
Also try individually FzfLua profiles load=hide and FzfLua profiles load=border-fused?

I’m trying to understand if it’s an issue with the border-fused+hide profiles (the new default) or something in the initial setup / your config opts,
