How to override a keybind from another plugin?

Hi,

I have a binding for C-g to open LazyGit in the terminal, this conflicts with the fzf-lua binding for switching modes to fuzzy search while in live grep.
Is there a way to override the keybinding while fzf-lua is open?

Use winopts.on_create callback to unset the LazyVim bind.

The problem is that I need to set it again with the on_close callback, which means the keybinding is now configured in two different places.
Is there a more elegant way to do this?

Not sure why you have to set it again, just set ctrl-g to itself and use a buffer only mapping it won’t override the global one, on_create has a bufnr parameter which you can use.

I've ended up excluding the fzf filetype from the lazygit keymap:
