On the use of ConTeXt as pdf backend

congrats for the very interesting and promising project. Have you considered using ConTeXt as pdf backend? I think it could be convenient since it is very portable (there is a very lightweight standalone version) and its Lua and XML interface are very handy. In my experience it is way faster than LaTeX!

Ciao @MarcoRiggirello and thank you for the kind words! Quarkdown's architecture allows for different rendering targets. Additionally, each target is free to provide as many layers as needed.

Concretely speaking: as of now, the only supported renderering target is HTML via the quarkdown-html module. It exposes two layers: html and html-pdf, with the latter being an extension of the former, as it generates the HTML output and invokes Puppeteer on it to generate a PDF (the same way you can save a PDF from any web page in the browser).

If LaTeX rendering is going to be supported in the future (#41) I will definitely have a look at ConTeXt. Thank you!
