Hi there! I'm currently the technical lead on Quarto, an open-source project that shares many of the same goals as Quarkdown. We're super happy to see development and innovation in this space. Quarto is developed by many of the same folks behind the RMarkdown ecosystem, and Quarto documents are recognized in GitHub's linguist infra under the .rmd and .qmd extensions. We noticed that Quarkdown uses the "qmd" extension as well.
