Light going through portal doesn't work with dimensions stack

so, the reason light seems to go through nether portals is cause the portal block produces light, light traveling through portal entities isnt a feature and has never been intended to be a feature.

After verification, that's true. I got mistaken probably because vanilla portals have a brightness of 11, while iPortals ones have a brightness of 15, like the sky.

Is there a way to toggle portal brightness for the dimension stack? Is there a technical reason why it's turned off by default ?

dimension stack doesnt use the portal block, so there isnt anything to emit light
