[Forge via Connector] Mining a block through a portal results in it reappearing later, when placing another block there.

Is it a mod compatibility issue?

I only have iPortals and Sinytra Connector. The issue doesn't happens when using Fabric.

Describe the issue

When mining a block through a portal, it seems some data is kept to that block location. When placing a new block there (either directly from the dimension or through the portal), the previously destroyed block instantly replaces it. Logs don't show anything, it happens silently.

Situation 1 (correct):

• From the Nether, destroy a yellow concrete.
• Go back to the Overworld.
• Place a blue concrete where the yellow one was.
• The blue concrete stays.

Situation 2 (buggy):

• From the Overworld, destroy a yellow concrete through the Nether portal.
• Place a blue concrete where the yellow one was, still through the portal.
• The blue concrete is visible but then quickly replaced by a yellow concrete.

Situation 3 (buggy as well):

• From the Overworld, destroy a yellow concrete through the Nether portal.
• Go through the portal, to the Nether.
• From the Nether, place a blue concrete where the yellow one was.
• The blue concrete is quickly replaced by a yellow concrete.

EDIT: Simply right-clicking the empty space also makes the destroyed block reappear.
EDIT: Player can suffocate in air, since it's not really air.

I know Sinytra isn't officially supported. But since it's the only way to run iPortals on Forge 1.20.1, it seemed reasonable to at least document the issue.

Waste of your time man, they'll continue to blame the users no matter how many people request 1.20.1 Forge.

That's not helping either. Minecraft modding is unpaid work. I'm sure they're doing what they can considering their life obligations and their motivation, 3 years into a project that doesn't make them any money.
