Bedrock Floor when dimension stacking

When using dimension stacking to link the Overworld to the Nether optimally there would be a way to only replace the ceiling bedrock with the block of choice as opposed to both the ceiling and floor of the Nether so players wouldn't be able to dig into the void and fall out of the world. Alternatives could be to place a bedrock layer in the Chaos Dimension meaning you could make it upside down last in the stack to prevent players from falling out of the world or a Bedrock Dimension that is just one layer of Bedrock.
