Upgrade rel 7 to rel 8.0.1 model transfer issue.

I just successfully upgraded my SpeedyBeeF405Wing to the latest stable release 8.0.1. However importing my model parameters by using the "Diff all" file info crashes my FC in such a way that I have to reflash the FC.
I used the converter tool to change the command "profile X" to "control_profile X" assuming this was the only change to be made. After the load file and execute commands the FC hangs (no communication/connection possible). Since it is quite some work to completely reprogram the model I wonder if someone could take a look at the added file to see if I am doing something rather stupid.

Those serial lines look weird to me, at first glance.
If I were you, I would paste in the lines above serial, save and reboot.

If I'm reading that right, you have USB set up for Smartport telemetry, not for MSP (connection to Configurator):

serial 30 32 115200 115200 0 115200

Then if that's okay paste in the lines below the serial lines, save and reboot.
Then probably set up your serial ports in Configurator.

You certainly put me in the correct direction but something strange is happening. I flashed a fresh 8.0.1. Doing so the INAV SpeedyBee is reachable again but without any plane config. I can also program the device without difficulty.
However as soon as I load the CLI plane file (converted to INAV 8) the whole system hangs with no possibility to communicate. Because of your suggestion I started all over again and loaded the plane CLI file but without the entire #port section. After execution the INAV FC was reachable and it looks that I also got all the plane setting back correctly. Looking at the Port setting in the INAV configurator I now see that, compared to INAV 7, the USB VCP line disappeared. In the CLI "Diff All" screen the serial 4 disappeared (attached). Any thoughts on the above? I am using Win11 Pro on my PC.

Yeah we did that because it's very unlikely you want to change it. Most of the time when people changed it, it was a mistake - not what they wanted to do.

If someone knows that they are doing and REALLY wants to connect a GPS via USB, they can do so in the CLI.
