Black Screen Delay on Video, Audio Plays Upon Loading

Just freshly downloaded and upon loading up the first video theres about 5-10 seconds of delay in the video playback, although audio plays immediately. There is no desync between audio/video because of this.

I disabled sponsorblock in case that was causing it, no change.

I had also changed quality from auto to 1080 before loading up a video first so I changed it back to auto and the issue still persists.

• Are you using built-in backend or Invidious?
• What is the device model and os version?
• Does this happen on all videos? All types? or only specific ones (e.g. live videos)
• Did you try to keep only a low quality(e.g. 240p) and see if the issue persists?
  • My line of thinking here is, perhaps the video decoder is struggling to catch up, maybe a lower size video would be easier for the device to decode quickly - just as a test

• I did try using both and that didn't change the outcome at all.
• I'm using an onn roku tv, model number 100012590-CA and its on software version 14.5
• all videos I've tried to load have had the same issue, I have noticed that all videos regardless of length seem to have around the same length of time black screening while playing audio, however, I went ahead and tested shorts and they only have a couple of seconds of black screen.
• I played a video after changing to each seperate quality in settings and the results remained the same

While testing though I've noticed some videos come up with an error code for "no valid bitrates" that seems to be regardless of video quality selected. I'll attach an image of the error message here.

After the video start playing and the picture is on, what happens if you go back to the beginning of the video? Is the first few seconds still black?

If i go back to the beginning there is no black screen, so it only occurs when loading in a video.

As an addition i did load a live video and there was no delay on video.
