Long-term support and roadmap for Hyvä React Checkout

We’re evaluating the Hyvä React Checkout for a potential migration from our current one-step checkout setup. Before moving forward, we wanted to clarify a couple of things:

Will the Hyvä React Checkout be supported in the long run?

Has it been replaced or is it being phased out in favor of the newer Hyvä Checkout?

We just want to ensure this won’t become a technical debt down the line if we decide to invest effort into the migration.

Will the Hyvä React Checkout be supported in the long run?

React checkout is an open-source Magento module. It is basically community supported. There is no official supporting exists for an open source module. But, it will be maintained like this for long time.

Has it been replaced or is it being phased out in favor of the newer Hyvä Checkout?

Hyva Checkout is not a replacement for Hyva react checkout. Both works totally differently. Hyva checkout is a premium product based on Magewire. So you get official support from Hyva Team when you use it. Hyva react checkout uses react in its core and it is completely open source. The support is currently provided via issues panel here or through the Hyva slack #react-checkout channel. There is documentation for the react checkout and by going through it, you will be good to go. In any doubts, feel free to ask here or in the channel.
