Why is resizing so jittery on hyprland ?

The following is a comparison of the same program running in xfce4 (wayland) and hyprland.

You can clearly see how smoothly it resizes in xfce and how it sort-of jumps as if misses a resize on hyprland. This is the case with almost every program, some worse than others (I'm only talking about native wayland programs, x11 programs running in Xwayland are way worse).

The app in the video is Thunar (xfce's file manager). But most apps have the issue.

hm, there are some tiny stretches, maybe its exacerbated by slower hardware. Resizing is tricky. X11 does it in one of the worst ways you can do it, but it avoids the stretching
