latest Hyprland flake doesnt render on laptop display

Howdy,

The latest flake does not render on latest nixos-unstable on the laptop display. It is detected in hyprctl monitors all, but not used.

internal display is(I think) connected to the igpu, so this might be an intel gpu api thing?
before I updated nixpkgs this worked after I updated nixpkgs it doesnt work and the laptop display is stuck at the uwsm status screen; however it seems to be part of the config. I say this because my mouse disappears and applications seem to launch on that display.
