that's odd... How do you run hypridle? exec-once or service? |

I have three full dual monitor setups, two desktops and a laptop. All of them have a perpetual issue with my Hyprland/Hypridle/Hyprlock setup. All three are different brands of monitors and three models of video cards (one Intel two AMD).
Of any of them, if I run
hyprctl dispatch dpms off
manually from inside a session, all connected monitors will turn off. So far so good. The issue comes when the same command is triggered from Hypridle. Instead of all monitors turning off, only one will, typically the primary. A few times I believe I have observed all monitors turning off, then one of them coming back on almost immediately, but I cannot reproduce this observation on demand.
The next "symptom" is that the moment I give some input (mouse or more typically I just start typing the unlock password), the monitor that was off will come on, but the one that was not successfully powered down will actually flick off and then back on again.
I'm bringing up this discussion here, but it may be a Hypridle or Hyprlock issue too or some interaction between the whole system.
Here is my Hypridle config in full:
It does not seem likely the Hyprland or Hyprlock configs are relevant, but I'm happy to provide them if they are. In fact all my relevant dotfiles are public here.
