Using key bindings through extra mouse buttons breaks the keyboard layout

I am experiencing the same issue in this issue post #9318

This is what I have for extra mouse buttons bindings:

# Open and close taps in browser using mouse buttons
bind = ,mouse:275, sendshortcut, CTRL, W, activewindow
bind = ,mouse:276, sendshortcut, CTRL, T, activewindow

I have to layouts EN,AR when I am on the secondary layout and I press anyone of these bindings the keyboard will type in the primary layout(EN) despite having the secondary layout still active and indicated as active, the video in the issue post is a good display of the bug.
