Colors faded when screen is locked on HDR

Colors seem to be faded when I lock my display only in HDR (cm=hdr or hdredid). When using SRGB there is no difference in the background when using a lock with no blur.

I've tried this using both swaylock (swaylock-effects) and a custom lock made through quickshell and the results are the same. pictures attached should illustrate this. I'm using session_lock_xray=true and allow_session_lock_restore=true, those are the only lock related settings modified.
