Cant launch certain steam games properly on Hyprland #11092

Not sure if it's a Hyprland or Wayland issue( there is a good chance it's a Wayland issue I'm just not sure what the best way to test is) but when trying to launch certain steam games (Noita and Payday 2 don't work for me, yes I am using proton) the games act like they're opening but after 2-3 seconds or so they just crash (or I think that's what is happening) without opening any window. I got Noita to work after opening the executable with wine but Payday has to be launched with Steam. I would use the native linux version but it's not receiving updates anymore so I have to use the proton version. I am on Arch linux with Hyprland using an Nvidia RTX 3060 and proprietary drivers. |

nvm fixed it in 15 minutes after i made this post, i had nvidia-utils installed but i didnt have multilib/lib32-nvidia-utils installed. only took me a week to solve 😭 |
