Switching workspace keeps the modifier held down when using VMWare

Broadcom is probably never going to fix this issue, so I thought it would be best to report it on here.

When switching the workspace using a modifier (ALT in my case), the modifier remains held down.

6.15.6-arch1-1
Hyprland 0.49.0 built from branch  at commit 9958d297641b5c84dcff93f9039d80a5ad37ab00  (version: bump to 0.49.0).
VMware Workstation 17.6.3 build-24583834

I was using the split-monitor-workspaces plugin obtained from hyrprpm, so I tried using the regular one to see if it would fix it, but the issue persisted.

I accidentally showed me changing split-movetoworkspace to movetoworkspace in the video, but the issue persists when changing split-workspace to workspace as expected in this issue. So the issue is not from split-monitor-workspaces.
