Image sizes in frontmatter #361

Hi there - I love this theme, thank you. I'm a pro user.
I want to change the size of the image I call in the frontmatter.
For example:
image: path: /assets/img/docs/my-featured-image.jpg
My image, when rendered, is always the same size, regardless of the actual image size.
I am trying to add a thin banner-style image to the top of the post using front matter, but the render doesn't reflect the thin image size, its always a square render, which uses the width, but is very deep.
Hoping you can assist.
