@Feature-Requests that's not what it is supposed to mean. AMOLED displays are much better in displaying pitch blackness, but it does not mean you can't use a LCD screen or similar. I'd rather recommend adding an explanation or something like AMOLED (Pitch black). But Black might be mistaken for the regular dark theme IMO.

"Dark" and "Black" are different things. Why should we use a display type in the option's name if that display type has no relevance to the option?
