Bulk updating accession links

Hello!
I was hoping to be able to bulk update accession links but I see on the Bulk Updater page one must have the as_accession_links plug in to use that feature. However, ASpace now has accession links at the archival object (component) record level in the core code, will the Bulk Updater be updated to reflect this ability without having to use the additional plug in? If not, is there a work around? Thank you!
