Picos stop working intermittently, logs show Release action but no Short Press action

Describe The Bug:
Occasionally pico remotes will stop functioning. Upon closer inspection in the HK logs it looks to be logging a release action but no press action.

To Reproduce:
Steps to reproduce are inconsistent. Homebridge restarts seem to fix temporarily most times.

Expected behavior:
Any press and release of a pico remote should result in either a short, long or double press action
