Hello Home Assistant team,
I would love to see the ability to assign custom colors to each entity in the Energy Dashboard directly from the UI.
Currently, the colors are assigned automatically based on order, and can only be changed globally via custom themes in YAML, which is not very user-friendly.
It would be fantastic if users could set the color for each entity—such as grid consumption, solar production, or individual devices—either with a color picker or by entering a hex value, right in the Energy Dashboard settings. This would make it much easier to keep the dashboard visually organized, especially for those of us with many tracked sources.
Thank you for considering this enhancement and for all your great work on Home Assistant!
