Automation trigger does not support negative numbers. #25521

I don't believe theres any such limitation, though perhaps your mobile OS chooses not to show a negative number on the keypad? Could you try switching that element to yaml mode, and you can enter a negative there instead? e.g. |

I am trying to create an automation which will initiate an alert if my freezer temperature rises above a certain temperature.
The normal operating temperature is minus 18C
If the temperature rises above minus 13C I’d like an alert.
Unfortunately when creating a new automation it is not possible to enter a negative number (-13) as a trigger value in the UI
I’ve researched the issue and tried entering 13 via the UI then editing the automations file to add a negative character to change 13 to -13 but this was not successful.
It would be great if it was possible to allow the use of negative numbers as a trigger.
