It would be nice to configure for each "Individual device" on the energy dashboard if it should show as a group or as a single device.
At the moment, devices that have sub-devices act as groups. They show up on their own, then the sub-devices show up, and then the untracked energy shows up. This is fine in many cases, like metering a circuit breaker and some individual outlets.
If set to "single device", it would instead show the sub-devices and the untracked energy as the device, leaving out the total. This would be useful when metering a single device and something attached to that device.
For example, I have an energy meter on my AC. The condensation pump attached to the AC is on a smart switch, which also reports its consumption. At the moment, it gives me three measurements:
In "single device" mode, this would instead give:
This could also be accomplished by allowing a device's "untracked" energy to be named in that device's options and allowing the device itself to be hidden. This probably is the more flexible way to implement this.
