and there are very small input fields for URL:

Even for a static URL (which could be long), to to mention complex templates.

Perhaps we need to add a new type of field into ha-form - smth like a "text" corresponding to ha-textarea.
Then integrations may use this field in their config flow schemas.
But I have no idea how an integration should tell "I need a text, not just a string".
