Hi,

I have a stupid dishwasher from 2017 that I would like to integrate into Home Assistant.

It would be interesting if you could then remotely start it later using automation, for example, to take advantage of cheap electricity tariffs or PV surplus.

My dishwasher has a TimeLight on the floor that is connected using a 3-pin connector.

Can a professional determine from the pictures whether it could be the D-Bus? Because then it might be easy to attach an ESP to it without having to dismantle the dishwasher.

Is it even possible to carry out actions via D-Bus or can you only read it?

During startup, the Timelight sends a D-Bus frame to the bus like this:

03 | 02.7f-f1 | 60          | bb d5 (crc=ok)

The module also sends ACKs for frames with D=6. More specific command frames are not known yet.

7f-f1 likely means something like 'hello world, here I am' and the 6 is the address of the sender.

The Timelight modules usually break after 2-3 years. Search the net, you will find many users complaining. The super-bright LED seems to burn the LCD. @Nurster
