oh lolol. I didn't know gherikin or anything, but recognised these things at this page Triality - cucumber-tried:

• "stories"
• the syntax of the snippet
• "in practice they were usually ignored by everybody except the [writers]"
• cucumber (have heard it somewhere in context of BDD - behaviour driven devt)

and these immediately reminded me of this tool "behave" i found when searching for "behaviour driven development in python".

while reading that tool, i remember thinkin to myself: what isss this stu*** thing, and how would it help me - an individual developer. c'mmon, be realistic - u know u ain't using or even understanding it

and reading the similar thing here made me laugh inside 😆
