Train Protection (North America)

For the Train Protection colour displayed for North American Railroads, there's few different types of PTC systems used. would there be a way to prioritize what signaling Tag from OSM is used to display the system colour from the legend first? I came up with list of order it should render the tags that would reflect the most used system other than generic PTC color overriding the others.

Yes this is definitely possible!

There is a list of the train protection systems in https://github.com/hiddewie/OpenRailwayMap-vector/blob/master/features/train_protection.yaml#L44-L328. The order matters: the first match is the train protection system that is displayed for the line.

Feel free to improve the ordering or specify more specific PTC types. You can make a pull request, or specify the improved ordering in an issue so this can be changed.

I also saw the email with the suggestion to use the following ordering:

• ACSES
• ITCS
• ETMS
• CBTC
• PTC
• ATC

This is possible, I will make a pull request so we can see the changes in North America.
